Published on 30/05/2015
Following the convening of the National Coordinator of Caritas, IAD-International took part in the coordination and follow-up meeting at COLTMR, within the CAT Adjame.

The meeting, initiated by Caritas, aimed primarily to inform the NGOs on planned readjustments on the project regarding of its extension.

Indeed, the Global Fund has asked Caritas to continue the project until the end of 2015. With this and also in order to optimize the expected results and encourage stakeholders involved in this fight on field, Caritas has conducted some readjustments.

Thus, on the seventeen NGOs acting in Abidjan, only four will be selected for further interventions based on the following criteria:

1- having managed funds in that project totaling at least five (5) million CFA francs
2- the result of the evaluation scheduled for next week, depending on the quality of programmatic and financial data of NGOs.

From there, the NGOs that will not be retained will make every effort to finalize the project (i.e. paying premiums, complete the remaining reports, close all bank accounts) no later than 06/20/2015.

The selected NGOs will therefore cover all other Abidjan sites and will work with the remaining CHWs in the project, but whose number is downgraded by Caritas (PPH = 4 CHWs now instead of 8).
